About the Academy
The LaoZi Academy was established to bring the benefit of authentic ancient Taoist practices such as inner alchemy, internal martial arts and calligraphy and to share positive and beneficial lifestyle strategies with the public. Traditional Chinese Taoists perfected the arts of health, safety, happiness and longevity.
Taoist Master Dong Yang has directly received these powerful techniques through a private lineage of masters that has been unbroken for thousands of years.
By concentrating on the original ancient roots of traditional Taoist theory and practice, LaoZi Academy gives students a genuine, positive and lasting foundation which is life transforming. Students learn that true self-empowerment comes easily and naturally that produces a stable state of happiness and well-being. Stress, anxiety and diseases of modern life are eliminated.
With this foundation the practitioner then proceeds to acquire what Taoists refer to as ‘Da Tao’ or ‘Great Tao’. Great Tao means having the physical, mental, and intuitive ability to know the right ‘Tao’ or ‘Way’ to meet any challenge or situation in life.
